Listen to the Whispering Voice Within

Listen to the whisper within

How often do you listen to the voice within?  Are you even aware of it?  That is your intuition talking to you and it may have a life altering message to tell you. There are many stories how someone had such a strong internal feeling, as if it were a message, that against all logic they chose feeling over logic and it made all the difference. The world is more mysterious than we can explain. Why do so many people hide these miraculous stories under wraps? Imagine if we all spoke openly about our mystical experiences? What if we could stay open to mystery and wonder like the story below?

In April 2012, after being seriously intent on buying a home in a neighboring town, after bidding on a property, I just flat out and unilaterally decided against it at the eleventh hour. My family was beyond upset with me. The kids were excited about living in this town, but my gut flat out refused. There was nothing to explain this feeling. The town was perfect, and the home was lovely. I just felt that it was the wrong choice. I am typically accommodating and flexible, but in this instance, I was adamant against the idea. We settled on a home within our own town. We moved in June, and the kids started school in September. On December 14, 2012, the unthinkable happened at Sandy Hook Elementary school. My youngest would have been in that school on that day had I stayed the course.  – Christina Lianos

Intuition was valued by philosophers

Carl Jung said that intuition is an important element of life.  We all have it, whether we recognize and use it, or not. Intuition was important in Greek philosophy, particularly with philosophers such as Socrates and Pythagoras. Spinoza believed that a sense of moral values is intuitive and immediate. Immanuel Kant regarded it as the portion of a perception that is supplied by the mind itself. Bergson followed that line of thought suggesting that the intellect can analyze a person, event, or situation, but can never completely know it. He suggested that complete knowledge can only be obtained through intuition.

The 1900s

The US government’s Cold War activities in the 1970s supported remote viewing projects using long-distance clairvoyants.  Nobel prize winner and neuropsychologist, Dr. Roger Sperry’s split-brain research, which established that the brain’s left and right hemispheres perform different functions, lead the scientific foundation for intuitive intelligence. Our brain is the meeting place with our head and heart, and our ego and soul. Intuition is part of core genius.

Listen to your soundless sound

You need not hide your intuition. Do not join majority of foolish scientists. Instead join with the wise philosophers from the past. Meantime, keep your intuitive senses open as you never know when the whispering voice within evokes a mysterious intuitive moment of significant value. Listen to the soundless sound when it comes.
